Your best rum and.....???? your best mix with rum.....?!
1 1/2oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
1 tsp. Sugar
3-4 Mint Leaves
Club Soda
Combine lime juice, mint and sugar in a Collins or highball glass.
Stir gently to bruise the mint.
Fill glass 3/4 with ice.
Add the rum.
Top with soda. Stir well.
Bahama Mama is delicious...very tropical and refreshing. And using Malibu is an amazing rum with coconut liqueur:
Fill a Collins glass with crushed ice.
Combine the following in a shaker with ice.
1/2 oz. Light Rum
1/2 oz. Gold Rum
1/2 oz. Dark Rum
1/2 oz. Coconut Liqueur(Malibu is good)
Mix well and strain into the glass.
Fill 1/2 with orange juice & 1/2 with pineapple juice
Top with a splash of grenadine

My favorite drink is Malibu light rum with diet coke....try it! So good!!!
try Barcardi 8 its one of the only rums barcardi still makes in the caribean,its not too expensive,but is simply wonderful,it comes with a cork top just like fine wine.as for mix you might not need any,if you do remember,easy on the sugar,and use fresh citrus
