What is the most dangerous alcoholic drink?!

Question:

What is the most dangerous alcoholic drink?

im doing a project on alcohol and i was wondering if anyoen knew what the most dangerous/strongest alcohol or alcoholic drink was:)

Answers:
I know of many people who have had bad experiences mixing Jagermeister and Red Bull. The combination doesn't do a body good when taken in excess. The Red Bull itself in non-alcoholic, but paired with Jager or even Vodka can seem harmless and fun up until some serious heart palpitations start to make you regret having mixed them.

Pure grain alcohol.

Not off the top of my head, but you can easily find out by going to the liquor store and checking the alcohol content on the bottles. If you can't go to the liquor store, most major brands have websites (Cpt. Morgan, Skyy Vodka, Tanquerey, etc.) My guess is that the strongest alcohol would be a tequila, vodka, or rum. For a mixed drink though, it all depends on waht is in it and how much of each. From experience....I can tell you that a White Russian will kick your ***!!! Lol. Maybe a long island iced tea?? Thats got a litte bit of everything in it :)

Everclear. A couple of shots of this stuff will turn Paris Hilton into a real tramp. Um, wait a minute....

The strongest drink is Everclear it is 200 proof alcohol which means its 100 percent pure.

Does this mean there is not a more dangerous drink out there. It depends on what you put in it, or if you light it on fire, for example a Molotov Cocktail.

I'd say the most dangerous drink would be a screwdriver made with Everclear. But, when I think a bit more I think that the most dangerous drink is the very 1st one you ever drink. Many can drink socially, many cannot. And you don't know which type you'll be.

Methanol. Makes you go blind. But in terms of ethanol based drinks, yeah, I'm going with Everclear

Long Island Iced Tea. Even though it tastes pretty, it has 6 different liquors in it that shouldn't necessarily be put in one glass. Unfortunately I only remember gin, tequila, wisky, and vodka out of the 6. The point is though that if you have more then 4 of those.....you are cream!:)

vodka

Angosturas bitters, it is a poison - used to make pink gin

I believe the correct answer is: Absinthe. It's SO strong and dangerous that it's illegal in the U.S. and most European countries. Absinthe originated in Switzerland as an elixir/tincture, used in a similar capacity as patent medicines would be used later in the United States. However, it is better known for its popularity in late 19th and early 20th century France, particularly among Parisian artists and writers whose romantic associations with the drink still linger in popular culture. In its heyday, the most popular brand of absinthe worldwide was Pernod Fils. At the height of this popularity, absinthe was portrayed as a dangerously addictive, psychoactive drug; the chemical thujone was blamed for most of its deleterious effects. You can buy it in some countries ( even Europe ) if it has no more than 35 milligrams of thujone per kilogram. So I would think you'd have to include this in your project as the most dangerous/stronger alcoholic drink ever. The others listed so far are legal to buy in the U.S......Absinthe isn't.....therefore, this is your answer. Hope that helps. :)

Everclear or Diesel at 190 proof
Contains warning: "Caution: do not apply to open flame. Keep away from fire, heat and open flame. Contents may ignite or explode.. Not intended for consumption unless mixed with non-alcoholic beverage."

Next is 151 proof Bacardi-a high proof rum generally used for those flamed dishes in restaurants--although some people use it in mixed drinks.

A number of 100-110 proof divisions in alcohol exist.

Lots of 80 proof products and increasingly lower proof alcohol products.

Then, there are layered pure alcohol product blend drinks. Proof will vary according to the alcohol used.
Martinis, Long Island Ice Tea, and Cosmopolitans are a few of the high alcohol content mixed drinks.

In the dominican they have a drink called "75" or something like that, and its 75% alc white rum - so rough even they call it gasoline.
You might also want to look up Absinthe, especially its history in france.

and also type "Russia" and "medical alcohol" into the web and see what comes back. Since putin taxed vodka so much a lot of them are drinking a medical cleaner that turns them yellow then they die.

backyard moonshine from an amateur chemist, lol

drinks like everclear ... grain alcohol.

or Jaegermeister in Europe ... the main ingredient is opiates (opium).

I think Long Island Ice Teas are pretty dangerous. they have a total of six shots in each glass. I can't remember all six kinds of liquor, but it has all the basics....vodka whiskey rum etc.

A couple of those and I'm in rough shape!!

Jagermeister is deadly. Ain't nothing worse than a Jager hangover. *gets queasy just thinking about it*

from my experience : Everclear 151, or Bacardi 151, straight up. thing is if you sip it you won't get an immediate buzz but if you wait too long to down your drink, the taste gets worse. tough call to say the least.

moonshine some of it is above the 180proof max that they sell in stores. because it is pure grain alcohol

alcohol is a toxic substance to the body. It is better left to be used for fuel
