Tequila sales trend?!

Question:

Tequila sales trend?

This question is for a project..

I'm just curious to know at what times of the year (in particular, what months) do people buy or consume more tequila, or any beer/wine/spirits??

Say, if I were to put out a tequila campaign... when would be the BEST time to advertise a tequila product when tequila drinkers (or any wine & spirit lovers) are likely to be spending on alcohol.

If you could help answer, that would be great!!!! THANKS!

Answers:
Seasonally speaking, there is more tequila consumed during the warmer months when everyone is drinking frozen margaritas. The same goes for Rum, in Daiquri's and Pina Colada's.

Beer usually sells all of the time, but you see a spike of it around major sporting events and outdoor holidays like the 4th of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.

Champagne sales would spike around celebration periods like New Years... but then again almost all kinds of alcohol sell then :) Seriously, wedding season and New Years, you tend to seee much high Champagne sales.

In the winter, you see more Whisky (Bourbon and Scotch), sold. If you are around the major Ski resorts, you will see more Schnapps like Goldschlager sold, because it gives you a warming effect.

Hope this helps!

well-- Cinca de mayo is two days away--
I know I am thinking I NEED to buy some tequlia tomorrow or even TODAY!

I would imagine it would be, of course Cinco you know what, but summer time. Thats when people have pool parties, and margaritas are great drink on a hot day.
I also see lots of margarita glass ware in the stores at that time--so it must be summer time!
