hey all those answers are good, but the one I use is the easiest and my peeps love it. I buy the box Sangria wine, I add orange and lime slices and cherries, you can omit all of that and just add fruit cocktail, after of course pouring off the juice. To keep it cool, I place a zip lock gallon bag full of water into the freezer and when it freezes, I place the whole bag which is now ice in the punch bowl and add the Sangria. put a ladle in there and some cups near by and let the party begin. You can also add some brandy or cointreau if you like.

The beauty of the basic Sangria recipe is that it is as delicious as it is easy, and it only gets better as you spice it up with your own additions! Really, it is hard to add the "wrong" ingredient here, think favorite fruits, spice and liquors. Chill and enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Shot brandy
2 Cups ginger ale or club soda
PREPARATION:
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon and orange into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar and brandy. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving.
If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice.

Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of ginger ale, citrus soda pop or lime juice.

Start by decanting a sweet red wine into a pitcher. Add pretty much any mixture of citrus juices that you like...light on the lemon and heavy on the orange. Stir, cover, and chill. You'll want to experiment with various wines and fruit mixes to find what you like. Try putting a little juice in & tasting, then a little more and tasting, etc.

There are so many different recipes, but I found this one to be good...

2 gallons Zinfandel
1 cup brandy
1/2 cup Cointreau
2 quarts orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
1 cup superfine sugar
12 to 16 ice cubes
2 quarts chilled club soda
3 oranges, thinly sliced
3 lemons, thinly sliced

Thoroughly chill all ingredients. Pour the wine, brandy and Cointreau into a large punch bowl. Stir orange and lemon juice with the sugar until sugar has dissolved. Then add to bowl and stir to blend. Add ice cubes and soda and garnish with fruit slices. Serve in 4-ounce punch glasses or wineglasses.

SPANISH SANGRíA

The authentic traditional Spanish Sangria!

Ingredients:

1 Litre of red wine
2 oranges (juice - "naranjas de zumo")
4 peaches, cut into small pieces
5 desert spoons sugar
2 pieces of lemon skin

Steps:

1: Choose a red wine - Sangria is a refreshing drink and you don't need to use a vintage wine. We recommend a reasonably priced wine from Jumilla, Alicante or Valencia..... Put the wine into a jug, add the sugar, and stir until it is properly dissolved.

2: Squeeze the two oranges, and add the juice to the jug. Save a slice of orange skin to decorate.

3: Wash the peaches, peel them and cut them into small quarters (e.g. six per peach). Add them to the jug. If it is not Summer, you can use any other in-season fruit.

4: Put the jug into the fridge. Sangría should always be served chilled. If you want to reduce the alchohol concentration, add icecubes and slices of lemon. If you want to increase the alcohol concentration, add a small amount of cognac or rum.

well i know that on semi homemade she made a warm one with bottle red wine bag of fruit then she threw in a cinnamon stick couple slices of orange then she warmed it up you can probably find it on her website hope this helps
