Good drink?!
Answers: What is a really good chardonnay not to much money and that I could buy at the store. Also a good champagne like sweet.
Kendall Jackson makes a good Chardonnay - about $10 to $15. You really can't go too wrong with any Chardonnay from the Russian River area of California. As for a sweet champagne - you would probably like an Asti Spumante. It's an italian sparkling wine that is sweet.
dont like the wine but Mint Mojitos are excellent
ASTI is a sweet type of Champagne. It's the only kind I can drink.
If you like champagne and sweet drinks, try a shot of chilled Peachtree Schnapps poured into a martini glass and then top it off with about twice as much Martini & Rossi Asti sparkling wine. Sooo good. My favorite martini bar calls it a Bellini, I just call it delicious!
1. There are no sweet champagne. All Champagnes are dry or semi-dry.
There are sweet sparkling wines such as produced in Asti, Italy for example - don't muddle Asti is not the name of the wine it is the name of region in Italy. So if you want sweet sparkling wine - the simplest one is Asti such as Martini, Mondoro. As for me, I prefer Bersano Asti wines...
2. If you do want the Champagne... Buy only french ones. Not California or else - it is not a Champagne! It is sparkling wines. And this is not just laws of naming... You see, in Champagne, France is absolutely different soil and climate then in California, so the taste of the grape differs then in California ones. And the drink differs!
If want to know names of the French champagne... Mumm is good, Don Perignon - is well known...

White wine... Marimar Torres Chardonnay is good (California), then Chilean Chardonnay are good, such as Erazzuris (may be misspell the name)...
yes asti is good and cheap!! you can find this stuff at wal mart and it is really good! i remember my mom letting me have some as a kid for new years. now i love the stuff!! i'll drink a bottle by myself! did so last weekend!
