tequiza

tecate?

I know was a beer with tequila in it called Taquiza? But I haven't seen it in the stores for a while.

TEQUIZA

You know Desperados??? Tequila flavoured beer...

It was Tequiza. To be accurate, there was no tequila included; it was a flavored malt beverage (like wine coolers). The FDA regulates beer (and other flavored malt beverages) and the ATF regulates higher alcohol spirits. Combining the two would be a definition and regulation nightmare.

Tequiza
