You would be charged with driving under the influence. When you sign your drivers license, you are signing a contract that stipulates that you will not operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of any mind altering substance. Most jurisdictions will treat this offense similar to drunk driving. Although the penalties may be less sever.

Well, if you speed, run a stop sign, pass or change lanes without a blinker, weave in and out of traffic, or break other various and sundry rules of the road, there is plenty a cop can do.

You may not be legally drunk, but the cop has discretion on whether or not your are physically able to operate a vehicle.
