Absinthe essence kits?!
Answers: i have tried the essence kits that uses absinthe essence and a wormwood besk from here http://www.absinthkits.com/ . it was pretty good but i also found this site from sweden that was a lot cheaper if you buy in bulk and you only have to add one bottle to the alcohol. You can't make absinthe using essences.
You can only make absinthe with a still, and that's mostly illegal.
If you'd like to try absinthe, the least expensive way in the USA is to buy a bottle of Kubler or Lucid. If there's not a store near you (yet--these were just approved for sale a few months ago) you can get them here: http://www.drinkupny.com/category_s/86.h...

Adding herbs to vodka will just ruin your vodka.
Remember, you'll never get the original absinthe the crazy French artists drank during the 19th. century.
