Is drinking clear liquor better for you?!

Question:

Is drinking clear liquor better for you?

I heard drinking clear liquors, such as vodka, gin, etc... as opposed to dark liquors like whiskey or rum is better for you. Is this true? Does it make you have less of a hang over?

Answers:
Some people are more sensitive to the coulourings in whiskey or dark rum and in combination with the sugars your liver is processing when you drink it has to process these tannins and other colours which puts more strain on the body and can lead to a greater hangover.
Your liver is usually pretty good at metabolizing sugars but when combined with alcohol (which is a poison in the body) it slows down and you get dehydrated and sick (hungover).
If you're sensative to hang overs I'd stick with clear loquors and white wine.

Believe it or not Liquor does not cause hangovers. Its the sugar in the drinks. If you were to drink straight vodka you would get drunk but the next morning you wouldnt get a hangover. I know Ive tried it.

The only benefit to clear liqueur that I've heard is that it has less calories. Still does the same damage as the darker ones.
