My fave is Barcardi Grand Melon and sprite. Fuzzy navel is good, orange juice and peach schnapps.(cheap and easy) and it doesn't make you sick, just a nice little buzz. Otherwise, I would recommend wildvines wildberry. it's like a wildberry explosion in your mouth!
first sounds like your drinking these hard liquor drinks straight and they aren't meant to be. they are meant to be mixed with other ingredients. i like screwdrivers or margaritas are my favorite drinks, then the case of beer is a fall back.
so start with something with less alcohol. Have you tried hard apple cider or pear cider like those made by Blackthorn or Wyder's? Or a little fruity wine like white zinfandel or riesling? Hard booze is tough stuff for a lot of people to go straight to.
try a raspberry cream-cycle
in a blender 2oz chambourd
1oz white rum
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
blend well and enjoy
have you tried like peach rum? it's quite tasty with sprite or any clear soda and a splash of grenadine!
i know you said you don't like vodka but i really like UV lemonade, sprite and a large splash of lemon juice. it tastes just like lemonade.

Long Island iced tea is good. If you want a fruity beer, ask for Radler. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Apple schnapps is the best fruity drink that is not mixed.
There are probably at least a thousand different drink mixes out there, just pick and chose from what you like and take it from their. Also Wood Chuck Draft Cider...............heaven in a bottle, pick up a 6 pack of it....you will see. Also try Purple Haze (rasberry wheat beer) or if you are around the Georgia area, a Sweet Water Blue (blueberry beer)
Try midori and seven up or midori and pineapple juice.
Try a blue hawaian
Most fruity drinks are vodka based and you can hardly taste the vodka when made correctly.
Try a smooth liquor like crown royal...washington apple shots are great.
