you have to take the lime out :) tip the bottle upside down and give it one firm shake down to bring the lime into the neck, then reach in and pull it out.

OFCOURSE. It IS NICE WHEN YOU GET NEW RECYCLED BOTTLES WITH THE FRESH SCENT OF LIME
The lime will come out when the glass is broken at the recyclers, but it will make your recycle bin stink.
