Aren't the "health benefits" of wine also applicable to non-alcoholic grape juice?!

Question: Some people say that wine is good for your heart, but doesn't the risks of drinking involving cancer and liver damage outweigh the reported health benefits even if it is only consumed in moderation?

????????Yes, it is never healthful to ingest alcohol. 99% of the supposed health benefits of drinking wine is due to the grape juice upon which it is based -- but which natural grape juice is actually the preferred choice for true health benefits. Only one of the supposed health benefits of drinking wine is directly attributable to the alcohol content of the wine itself -- which is, that alcohol is a blood thinner and reduces the blood's tendency to clot. Thus, alcohol can reduce the likelihood of stroke from high blood pressure and cardiac or pulmonary issues related to blood clotting internally.

God bless.

Red Grape juice is wonderful and said to possibly be a cancer cure. I drink it before I drink Purple. Make sure its REAL Red Grape juice!

red wine(approx 1 glass a day) is really good for your heart cause of the grape skins, so i hear anywyaz???

Grape juice has the same health benefits as wine.

Here is the problem. A lot of juice drinks contain High Fructose Corn Syrup, which is one of the worst things you can ingest. It is so high in sugar content that your system does not know what to do with it. Therefore, it usually over reacts, and puts your system into a sugar/insulin shock overload.

Wine does not contain this stuff.

The trick is, look at the ingredients of your grape juice, and make sure you are drinking pure grape juice, not colored water, colored apple juice with grape flavor, or worse yet sugar water.

everything in moderation you will do no damage to yourself with a drink evey now and then, you can get cancer from the sun but that doesent stop you form going outside.

no, red wine has polyphenols, which inhibit the production of artery plaque,is a anti oxidant, lowers bad cholestrol, raises good cholesterol,it is from the skin and seeds and the alcohol process is what releases the polyphenols from the skin and seeds, only 1 to 2 glasses is needed .ie the mediterranean diet .......DAVE you are clueless,do so research before mis informing people.....and whoever gave me thumbs down F@#$ you moron

the health benefit is from the alcohol. it thins your blood and somewhat helps prevent high blood pressure
