Do bars that require uniforms on bartenders differ from bars not requiring them?
Does the environment differ? Is it a better place to work ?

I don't think it matters at all. The only way to gauge the environment is to actually go to the bar as a patron, and see what vibe you get out of it. I always do this first before applying anywhere. You should like the place if you want to work there. The only thing about uniforms.......at least you don't have to worry about what to wear each day!! =)
