I quit weed, beer, and wine ... But I want to drink again, what should I do ??!
When I was trying to have a good time by myself ! I never threw up, lost directions, or tripped and fell down drunk, to be honest it made me feel more social (not like a rambling drunk/but I actually had a normal discussion with a stranger in a bar before) ANYWAY, LET ME GET TO THE POINT OF MY QUESTION - Lol .. Me, and my dad started drinking wine together, I figured it was the weakest alcoholic drink, like more fruits than alcohol ... But after like 4 or 5 big bottles of Chardonnay in a 2 week period, the laughter started to fade away, and on the 6th bottle just a sip had me feeling evil as If I had drank vodka, I drank alot of water, and haven't drank in almost 2 months, because the intense rage was not normal.
I want to drink again, but I don't want to lose control, is every drink, Wine or Beer, guranteed to make me angry, and not give me that calm social laughter ?
Answers: I was always able to control my alcohol, it only made me mad when my family would talk to me, more like harrass me.

Most alcoholics don't fall down drunk or throw up. They are called "functional alcoholics". Most of them also feel like it makes them more social, relaxes them, etc. They don't drink with the intention of getting wrecked, and usually don't. But they come to depend on it, and find that they are drinking more than they want to on a weekly basis. They don't feel like they must drink for a physical reason, but it's part of their life routine and it's hard to be happy and relaxed without it.
The alcohol in wine and beer is the same alcohol as in vodka. It's just more diluted, but it's easier to drink more and faster.
If you have a problem with alcohol making you angry, and find that you are not able to stop with just a drink or two to get you the social laughter, then you probably can't drink.
The trick is to see if you have the discipline to drink a glass or two of wine, then switch to something non-alcoholilc. If you can't pull that off, then you probably shouldn't be drinking.
maby u drink too much at one point. if you eat at the same time, and not just drink without food, ull feel better!!
you have other issues that the alchol brings out , see a shrink
