I'm confused about alcohol - What drink can I drink, without feeling it too much ?!

Question: I use to down 3 - 40 ounces of Budweiser like water, and be disappointed that I didn't feel anything. That's when my tolerance was real strong.

Too much Chardonnay wine, and Busch had me feeling the effects, probably because I was binging.
( drinking excessively )

I'm not trying to build my tolerance up real high, to where I can drink 3 - 40 ounces of Budweiser, and feel nothing.

But I want to be able to have a 40 ounce of Budweiser, or 2 on the weekends, and not get that angry drunk feeling I use to get when drinking too much.

I'm 6'3 and about 210lbs, I just started up after 2 months, is it possible to go back to drinking slowly, and lightly to the point of where I'm just singing my oldies music, and being relaxed ??

Or is there still a chance of anger, that tends to creep up from alcohol ??

Don't make fun of my question, by saying something like, go see a shrink. I'm a very peaceful person, it's why I'm on here checking on how to keep my mood stable !!

Great question! I wrote a book about that. Well, go ahead. Drinking beer is healthy. Enjoy Budweiser without any problem, and also you can drink a little bit of vodka. Is healthy as well! But, avoid wine. No matter what the people say. Wine is more dangerous, like all color beverages (whiskey, rum). Drink just white or yellow beverages.

Yeah....I know what you are looking for. I would like that too. But it ain't gonna happen. I get angry after a certain amount of alcohol so I just do wine.

I use NyQuil to "feel" good. But too much and I am asleep.

Alcohol effects people in different ways. Yours takes you to a dark side. Some people cry, some people act the fool. But if its beer you are looking for to relax, there are other ways. There is no tolerance build up, you will drink, and drift right to where you dont want to go. Has seen it in the bar business, die hard alcoholics, drinking 15 beers and no buzz, but they get mean and often try to start fights. This isnt like training for the olympics, its your body and body chemistry that you are fighting, by continuing to drink.

There are non alcoholic beers, and if you can just stop at one or two and not binge, but thats a control issue.

Im not going to make fun of you in any way, just going to tell you this is a battle you are going to have to fight as long as you drink. Relaxation can be achieved from just a long walk in the woods, meditation, and mood music. You sound like a sincere person, just ask yourself is drinking worth it, when this is where I will end up and where will that anger take you?

Unfortunately, drinking will probably always bring out the dark side in you. You might want to try a few hits of weed on the weekends instead. You might even be able to have a (can of) beer or two afterwards then...

Even better for your body would be to find a way to relax, like the person above mentioned, without having to depend on substances. Good luck.
