What is the Legal Age to Distribue Alcohol in England?!

Question:

What is the Legal Age to Distribue Alcohol in England?

I was wondering at what age can someone 'distribute' alcohol in England.

I know it's 18 to consume or sell alcohol, however, I was wondering if someone under the age of 18 could be a 'courier' delivering alcohol to peoples houses that they bought from a company. i.e. if someone bought alcohol from a particular company, which they gave to DHL, etc - could a 17 year old work as a driver, delivering the parcel containing alcohol?

Please no guesses. Any specific act and/or section would be great.

Thanks.

Yes as long as payment for the alcohol is not made directly to the 17 year old as its against the law for someone under the age of 18 to sell alcohol without somebody over the legal age present

You can legally sell alcohol at 18. A 17 year old could deliver alcohol in theory but they would never get a job with a delivery company anyway

no he would not be alowed to deliver if he was working for DHL they would get someone older to deliver the Alcohol

You can sell alcohol under the age of 18 but only if you are employed in licenced premises and only if authorised by a legal adult.
