Can I buy absinthe in the south?!

Question:

Can I buy absinthe in the south?

Hi guys,

I live near Portsmouth and was wondering whether anyone knows of an off license or shop that may sell absinthe? I bought some in Amsterdam but that is nearly finished. I know I can get in online, but I need it in 2 days time.

Thanks in advance

My Tesco sells it!

Most of the large supermarkets sell it but I know Sainsbury's in particular sell a Polish branded Absinthe which is rated at 55% alcohol and sells for about £15.
Definitely not for the faint-hearted! :)

Tesco's stock it.

Tesco and sainsburys sell it, but i doubt if it will be as good as the stuff you bought back from Amsterdam.

You can get it normal off licences Im sure

Tesco sells it at £19 a bottle.

My friend, I believe you are asking the wrong question. You should be asking, "Can I buy the south in Absinthe?"

South of FRANCE maybe, but not here. The real deal, alleged to be the secret ingredient in Oysters Rockefellar, is poisonous!
