How can i avoid such bad hangovers?

right i know the obvious anwser don't drink!!!

i drink vodka but have heard its one of the worst drinks for hangovers, which alcohols are better, dont like brandy, whisky or archers,

With each drink you have have that much water too. Then before going to bed, drink another FULL glass of water and take a small dose of over the counter pain reliever.

A hangover is from being dehydrated!! Try drinking water along with your favorite drink (vodka). It helped a lot of my friends. Also, make sure you eat a decent meal before you drink. Food on the stomach will absorb the alcohol some too!! Have fun and Good Luck!!

Alcohol dehydrates you. Drink more water.

The obvious answer is not to drink, however always drink on a full stomach, interspace your drinks with a long glass of water and drink a large glass of water or two before going to bed. Alcohol intake causes dehydration and hence the water drinking and the more water you drink the less the headaches etc...... but dont drink and drive, have a good one

Grey Goose Im not sure if its a vodka or not but its smooth I never have a hangover and Patron its a Tequilla tastes well to....

be sure to eat and its best to mix the alki with juice or water

the problem is what you're gonna mix it with.. too much sugar will give you a bad hangover... Also, how fast and how much you drink is proportionate with your weight and height.

Its not the liquor you have to watch out for but the mixers. The sugar in the juices, sweet and sour mix, and soda are a disaster for hangovers.

Staying hydrated is the other half of the battle. Try to drink a glass of water between drinks, it will keep you hydrated and slow you down just a bit.

i thought it was the sugar in the mixer that caused the hangover, not the liquor ... that's why I changed to crown and water instead of crown and coke

As most respondents have suggested, increase your water intake. Drinking alcohol dehydrates you which also strips nutrients from your body. Try also making sure you take a daily vitamin and perhaps an additional vitamin B complex pill. Since B is water soluable, your body loses it quickly when you are drinking.

And, of course, evaluate how much you are drinking. If your body continues to respond the way it is, it might be trying to get you to slow down.

VODKA IS ACUALLY ONE OF THE BETTER DRINKS TO AVOID A HANGOVER BECAUSE IT DISTILLED SO MUCH. YOU MUST BE DRINKING THE CHEAP SH*T IF YOU SAY YOUR HANGOVERS ARE SO BAD.

drink a lot of water or Gatoraide before you go out drinking. When you are out drinking, drink a glass of water after every few drinks or shots to keep hydrated.

stay away from drinks with alot of sugars like diet coke instead of regular coke
