Opinion on my vodka?!
Answers: I have a bottle of Smirnoff black cherry vodka that is almost full (my ex bought it for me because he was a cheapskate and was crying about the price of Absolut, which is what I wanted). I really do not want to waste it. What are some good ways I can mix this so I can use it up? Or should I just toss it in my boyfriend's fridge and get my Absolut?
You should definitely drink it or send it to me but don't give it back to your ex.
You could just mix it with coke or diet coke...and you get cherry coke.

Maybe you could mix it with some Kahlua and milk or cream, that would be good I think, or maybe a hybrid cosmo with triple sec and some fruit juice other than cranberry.
One way might be in a Christmas Punch. The only recipe I have calls for 1 cup vodka, 1 cup burgundy wine, and 2 cups cranberry juice. How black cherry will work in that punch will only be told by trying it once.
Put the punch in a bowl with a large chuck of ice or a molded piece of ice. Sliced fruit and other assorted fruit can dress it up.
But no matter what, don't throw alcohol away....that is "alcohol abuse" LOL!!!
If you dont like it, dont drink it because you dont want to waste it. Give it back to your boyfriend or give it to another friend who likes that brand/flavor of vodka. Then go get what you want to drink.
Black Cherry, huh? I'd mix it with club soda, get a sort of Dr. Pepper with a kick.
Heck, also consider mixing it with Dr. Pepper - those would probably go well together.
absolute is not a very nice vodka its all hype,flavored vodkas work best with water,or club soda, or if you really have to pop.to put flavored vodka in a complicated mixed drink is kind of pointless you could use normal[and cheaper]vodka instead because all the other flavors are way stronger.you will notice that a high % of all bar industry people will drink flavored vodka and water/soda,the lack of sugar cuts down on hangovers[most drink every shift],and if you add few citrus wedges the vit c also fights a hangover,remember in the old days your grampa could drink a 1/5 of whiskey and water and drive home,its the sugar that gets you really drunk,try it ,cherry vodka lots of ice, little bit of water/club soda, wedge of lime and lemon,guaretee[sp]you will like it
