What do you call a home alcohol making kit?!

Question: One of my teachers told the class about this in year 11, now I want to buy one (I'm older now), what are they called?

I'm talking about the things that you can put fruit/juice in and ferment over weeks, etc to make alcohol.

Do they cost a lot?

If you are interested in starting to homebrew, your best bet would be a 'starter kit' from any homebrew shop. These include a fermenter bucket, carboy, siphon hosing, and all of the other equipment you need to start homebrewing.
If you don't have a local homebrew shop, check out http://www.midwestsupplies.com or http://www.northernbrewer.com.

bar tending at home. Just kidding! Lol.

I believe it's a Microbrew. And you can actually purchase a "kit" from Samual Adams. Or, if you'd like a chalenge, you can do it yourself. Just google "home brew instructions" and you'll be as good as gold!

Cheers (and happy brewing)

Are you talking about making a "Still"?

There llegal if you get caught with them.

Look up "how to make a still".

like a styll? not sure how you spell that

buy a wooden barrel at Bed Bath and Beyond, that is used to turn wine into vinagar. Or you can make bath tub gin

It is called a "still". Do you have any relatives in the southern states? Or perhaps you can Google "constructing a still".

I believe it is illegal in some states.
