Is a whiskey sour a girlie drink?!
Answers: What do people think about whiskey sours? I don't see it ordered too often at bars. Is it considered a girlie drink, or is it something a man could order at a bar?
Heavens no, i was a army soldier and most of my fighting buddys drank whiskey sours, never seen a girl drink them, it's a manly drink! Havn't had one for years,sure sounds good right about now!!

It is definently not a girlie drink and is one of the few things beyond simply a beer that one could order in order to sound over the top masculine.

I think its kind of a nuetral drink not too fem and not to masc. . . but i personally think they taste like crap. . . I love whiskey but i like it with coke or just straight no water
it's just out of style. I love them, they have a bitter snap and rock with Yukon Jack. martinis used to be the drink of losers now they are one of the top selling drinks. tom collins are coming back also.
Most girlie girls aren't huge fans of Whiskey, however, everyone is different and there are girls that I'm sure do order it. I think if you like a whiskey sour, who cares if it's girly or not....both men and woman like rum and coke...we are all humans anyway! Drink what you like...

I have heard lots of guys order a whiskey sour.
I had my first one at a buisness meeting at a bar (with all men) and several of the others ordered one so I decided to try one too.
It's a little girly because of the fruit flavor, but the whiskey helps to balance that out. And it's usually garnished with fruit. I order one every once in awhile, but between the sweetness from the whiskey and that from the mix, it can be too sweet for me.
Unless you're at a bar and you look down the row and every man is drinking a beer, you'll be okay.
It's definitely not a girlie drink, considering that it packs a bit of a punch. It is, however, an acquired taste. I hate whiskey sours.

A MAN can order anything at a bar. And he should order whatever he wants and not give a $%*@# what people think. . . . But I'm a girl, and I drink Whiskey Sours. I also order shots of Tequilla, beer, or whatever else I feel like at the time. Don't worry about it!
