Can I rescue a cigar when the wrapper is starting to flake?!

Question:

Can I rescue a cigar when the wrapper is starting to flake?

I've got a great Ashton that I've (unforgivably, I know) allowed to start flaking a bit. Can I rehabilitate it or should I just smoke it as soon as possible? Tips? Thanks!

(I asked this on this category because tobacco seemed closest to spirits.)

Answers:
You can try to reconstitute it by putting it in a humidor at high humidity, but your best bet is to grab a good glass of brandy or cognac (or scotch) and lite it up.

Like women, fine cigars are meant to be enjoyed, not collected.

even when getting it at the proper humidity once it starts to flake, it's gone. Just gotta smoke it before it gets worse

and put the cigars in your humidor darn it!!!!!!!
