Make a daquari replace the tequela with rum.

No.

This is like asking for a good cookie recipe without cookie dough, or a good sandwich recipe without bread.

Just make a different drink and call it by its name.

If there's no Tequila, then it's not a Margarita...

a side car is a margarita variation, sub tequila with brandy, add triple sec, sour mix, splash of lime, strain into a martini glass with a sugar coated rim, garnish with a cherry. it's nice but with out tequila it's not a margarita

Ugh!, I don't believe you said that.

No tequila in a Margarita. Then its NOT a Margarita.

Sacrilege!!

Some things are sacred and you can't mess with them.

Not exactly a margarita without the tequila. That's like Christianity without Christ.

Try margarita mix with Cointreau, an orange flavored liqueur, It is actually in the original margarita recipe. Or a finer tequila will lessen the alcohol burn.

hey i got a good idea why dont you just toss the margarita idea and just get real messed up with a bottle of tequila?

hell i would

make a daquiri. same recipe as margarita, but with rum instead of tequila.
