What is your most favorite wine, its price and why you like it?!

Question: Since I was 20, I've loved Riesling. It's a sweet German wine that is easy to drink on its own or with pasta, fish, crackers, cheese, and fruit. Delicious!

I like Schmitt Sohne Riesling spatlese the best, but also Late Harvest Riesling and J.Lohr Riesling.

My in-laws introduced me to a good German wine that I really enjoy is Michealsburg Peirsporter Auslese (not sure of spelling). I can usually find it at Hy-Vee liquor stores, and is about 8 to 10 dollars a bottle.

Le Lenau Cellars, I am not sure if I spelled that right. Located in upper part of Michigan. Each fall they sell a wine called witches brew. it is flavored with cinnamon, cloves and other earthy flavors its supposed to be heated. It is not really costly only $6.99 a bottle but the taste and the warm, giddy, buzzy feeling ----wonderful. Wish I could have it all year long.

Wolf Blass Red Label Sparkling brut chardonnay pinot noir.
£8.99 or on discount in the wine club.
I drink champagne quite regularly, and this is the closest thing to champagne without the price tag.
Other than that, Chablis, Rapideaux (spelling?), £15 in the Globe pub, London - no other reason other than happy memories every time I've drank it!

Debonne Vidal Blanc Ice Wine $29.25 for a small bottle. I like it because it's very sweet and aromatic like ambrosia of the Gods. It also makes me feel privileged because it's a wine that can only be made in certain places in the world with specific weather conditions, and Debonne is a local winery where I live. It's the perfect splurge for my Christmas.

Wow, so many good wines. It was Robert Mondavi reserve cabernet- about $100. In part because my wife and I really got into wine while traveling in Napa and that wine was one of the first wines we both just went "wow, this is great!" over. But at that price I drink like one or twi bottles a year.

I like Burgundy wines a lot. I did have a favorite brand, can't remember the name now, anyway, the local stores don't carry anymore, so I'm looking for a new fav. But I can usually get premier cru burgundies for around $30-40 a bottle, some are good, some not so good.
