Where does the drink port originate from?!

Question:

Where does the drink port originate from?

Answers:
Portugal

Port is a strong sweet wine that's made from grapes.

From Portugal, inside the Douro region

South west of Portugal

Port (or "Porto") is a fortified dessert wine that originated in Portugal. Most Port producers have English-sounding names because Port was originally invented by English shippers who were desperate to get affordable wine to England without it spoiling in transport (at the time, the English and the French weren't getting along so well). To do that, they "fortified" the wine with brandy. This gives Port its sweet flavor and high alcohol content.
