Cranberry orange vodka?!


Question: i am making cranberry orange vodka. per the recipe it says make the vodka, etc. then set aside for one week. strain and put in bottles. store vodka in fridge.

my question is, should i refrigerate for the week? or just after its done melding everything? i think it is the latter, but want to be safe! thanks everyone! :)

Depends on when you're drinking it. If you're planning on drinking it right after you refrigerate it, then you should let it sit at room temperature for the week. The flavors in the fruits will blend with the vodka more quickly at room temperature.

Refrigerate after fusing flavours.

vodka should always be consumed chilled unless your taste testing between vodkas. i also don't see why its necessary to refridgerate as you can chill with ice. or shake it if you want it to chill quickly
