What's the best way to seal a humidor?!

Question:

What's the best way to seal a humidor?

Humidity hovers around 60%.

Answers:
Humidors, other than the walk in type, do not normally have a seal to hold humidity.

Generally they use either wet ceder strips or a plastic disk full of foam soaked in water. These just evaporate more water into the air inside the humidor than they loose through the gap in the box opening. If the humidity falls below 60% re-soak the wood strips or foam and the humidity will stabilize again.

The walk in type of humidor just uses weatherstripping just like the front door of your house.
