going to play de ingles in a few weeks and just want to know the cost of a beer in the pubs (pint) and how much is a average cost of a meal and also is there any ood bargains to be had out there

First - do not buy duty free. It is much, much cheaper here!!!!
Tourist areas vary quite a bit. Cheapest pint in the South is less than a euro but the usual tourist price is between three fifty and four fifty. Some Brit bars are cheaper. Meals again vary considerably with where you eat. Chinese buffet is 7 euros for all you can eat. Average restaurant price probably about 9 euro a course. Get away from tourist areas and you can get a three course lunch in some places for 7 euros!!
A pint of Topical will cost you more than a bottle which is nearly as much. Local beer is cheaper than imported.
Supermarket prices are good local beer about 50 cents a can. Cheap beer can be as little as 16 cents a can - pissed on a couple of quid!!! Local brandy 7 euros a litre!

Yeah all the above and the best bargain is a trip to Puerto de Mogan; where you can take a trip 25m down for 1/2hr on a real yellow submarine for about 25e...dont miss it...
