Jello shots?!

Question:

Jello shots?

Anybody know of any good Jello shot recipes? Like what alcohol goes good with what flavors of jello, or even a universal alcohol that you can't go wrong with. Also do you know where you can find those little plastic dixie cups? there not drinking cups, but more like the little cups that taco cabana has for salsa and stuff. My local grocery store doesnt have them and the nearest taco cabana is far far away

jello shots are so easy to make ..first you can get the dixie cups at Smart n Final ..you can get some at Michaels too in the cake aisle ..follow the recipe on the jello box ..just substitute 1 cup of water for 1 cup of vodka ..any vodka would do ..even the cheapest one ..no one will know after the 5th or 6th one they have ..if you want you could use absolut mandarin with strawberry jello mix ..exotic flavor and so yummy ..cheers!

I don't really know a recipe, but I know that flavored vodkas (eg Smirnoff Twisted flavors) go well with jello, you can't even taste the liquor.

try Smirnoff Vodka. Not flavored though, just regular. Mix it with whatever kind of jello you like, but, you don't want to die from all the alcohol in the shots, so, when you're making it, you're supposed to use one cup of cold water and one cup of warm I think... instead of the cold water, use Vodka. They are REALLY good. My best friend and I made then for a beach party in Florida a couple years ago, they were gone in like 10 minutes. They are SO good... try strawberry jello. You can't even taste the Vodka!

6 ounces Jello (large package)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Water (cold)
10 ounces Vodka
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and add the cold water and alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups.

You can make jello shots with almost any type of alcohol, but you should adjust the proportions of alcohol and cold water to ensure that the shot still sets. The higher the proof of the alcohol, the more water that is required for it to set.

Proof Alcohol Cold Water
30-50 13 ounces 3 ounces
80-100 10 ounces 6 ounces
150-200 6 ounces 10 ounces

you s hould be able to find the cups at any wal mart
