Does Rum Expire?!

Question:

Does Rum Expire?

Answers:
Distilled alcohols don't really expire but a good product might mature further. Under proper conditions this might improve the quality of the product - and add to its price tag...! But there might be a time when the drink has reached its peak, after which it will decline in quality (taste, alcohol). For good spirits that can be a 100 years or more! Check with the manufacturer if they give a time frame; or don't waste so much time and drink that bottle with a couple of good friends!

yeah i work at a bar if it is dark rum itll start to turn an off color.

I don't know. My never lasts long enough to find out. Try storing it in the freezer. Should keep it fresh longer.

im not sure??????????????????????????...
i dont think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

it depends on how it is stored, but unless it sat for a very long time in a place where the temperature fluctuates a lot (freezing to over 100 degrees and back) it should be ok. if it smells weird or tastes off, I'd pass.

Uh, yeah.
