Anybody know of a simple mixed drink?
I'm going to hang out with my friends tonight and was wondering if anybody knew of a simple, maybe a couple of ingredients, mixed alcohol drink. Thanks!! :)

Simple drinks are well simple. (name of alcohol) and coke, diet coke, or orange juice. I'm a fan of Captain Morgan or vodka for starters.
If you want a good easy drink that is pretty strong try a Colorado bulldog. It is 1/4 Kahlua, 1/4 Vodka, and half Coke, with a bit of cream. It tastes like a milk shake but will get you started for a great evening.
O ya Margarita's might not be a bad idea considering the day today. Buy some pre-made mix and add the alcohol as needed. Have a safe and happy evening.

I've worked many bars and most people drink cocktails with 2 ingredients. Rum and Coke, bourbon and Sprite, vodka cranberry... guess what's in those drinks. Just those 2 ingredients. Just go get a few of your favorite liquors, then stop by the grocery store and get some Coke, Sprite, Ginger ale, cranberry juice and orange juice. There's so many drink combinations there anyone should be happy.

My favorite is a mojito. Squeeze a few lime wedges over crushed fresh mint leaves, add ice and a shot of rum, and fill the glass the rest of the way with club soda. Totally refreshing! If you like a sweeter cocktail, stir in a little sugar.
I also really like a rye press, which is rye whiskey (like Canadian Club) with coke, a splash of club soda (to cut the sweetness a little), and a lime wedge. Rye is also really good with ginger ale, which surprises a lot of people!
Good quality fruit juice with vodka (flavored or plain) is a good girly standby! I like guava, pineapple, grapefruit (which is called a geyhound), and pomegranate juices for mixing.

All are tough to screw up; if it's too weak add more alcohol, if it's too strong add more mix. The first listed has always been popular when I made it, and it's cheap.

Knob Creek or Crown Royal (whiskey--SOOO much better than Jack Daniels!) and Diet Coke, or regular Coke if you're not worried about the calories. My boyfriend likes the Diet Coke better even though he isn't worried about calories, he says the sweet regular Coke covers up the taste of the bourbon.
You can't go wrong with the classic hi ball.
Fill a 10 to 12 ounce glass about half full with ice. Pour in about 2 ounces of whiskey. Fill with lemon lime soda or ginger ale. Enjoy.
