Being a former chef, the one lady is right, but the word "gelee" means it is jelled so it will be a bit firm or thick, either with a cornstarch or other thickener, chilled served with a dollop of sour cream and a raspberry garnish, I made alot of fruit soups,very refreshing.

I think the closest substitution would be slightly warmed/melted raspberry jelly. most likely seedless. maybe sweetened strained raspberry puree, though?
