Fun Alcholic Holiday Drinks?!
Answers: What are some fun alcoholic holiday drinks? I am having a Christmas party tonight and was wondering what some fun drinks were to get everyone inthe spirit of the Holidays.
1) A Midori sour with cherries on the bottom
2oz Midori
4oz Sweet & Sour Mix
3 or 4 cherries at the bottom of the glass!
2) Coffee w/ Khalua
Something to warm you up from the cold!
3) Green Apple Martini w/ a Cherry
1 1/2 oz Apple or Regular Vodka
1 1/2 oz Apple liquer
shake and strain into martini glass w/ a cherry!
4) Pomegranate Martini w/ sugar on the rim of the glass
2 oz pomegranate juice
3 oz Citron vodka (lemon flavored vodka) OR white tequila
1 oz Cointreau liquor
or
1 1/2 oz PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Absolut vodka
1/4 oz Triple Sec
to put sugar on the rim, just keep a shallow bowl of water or lemon juice and a plate of sugar around your mixing area, dip the rim into the liquid and then into the sugar.
5) Green Tea Martini w/ Cherry
1 1/2 oz Citron Vodka
1 1/2 oz Zen (or other brand) Green Tea Liquer
Shake and strain into Martini Glass w/ cherry
And there ya go! Five holiday drinks to get the party started!
You could make Jello shots that are green and red
Or you could make yellow jello shots in champagne glasses with strawberries
Hot Buttered Rum
Nuts 'n' Berries - Equal parts of Frangelico and Chambord and a splash of cream
Pecan Pie- Frangelico/ little bit of Buttershots/ splash of cream
Eggnog
Hot Toddy- Hot Water/Lemon/ Jack Daniels

The one I make is exactly the same as this, but I don't use curry or cardommon just cinnamon/nutmeg/pinch of clove
Champagne Decorators.... fill glasses with champagne.... in every other one put a red or green marashino cherry. Green and red! Plus.. the cherry sends little streams of bubbles up in the champagne for quite a long time and it is very pretty.
Cocito (latin version of eggnog)
3 cans of evaporated milk
2 cans of condensed milk
1 can od coconut milk
1 tablespoon of vanilla
rum
blend for a couple of min chill and serve cold
Buy some egg nogg and mix it with Baileys. It's really good! Or you can make apple cider and mix it with Captain Morgan Spiced rum :)
Always steer away from the suggestions for egg nog. That stuff is nasty and I equate it to someone giving you a glassful of mucous and insisting that it is great to drink. I would suggest Jagerbombs, lime Jell-O shots with Patron Silver in them, and Long Island Iced Tea. Mmmm....tasty.
