normally it is seasonal, but all bottles of crown come in a purple bag. sometimes the retailer removes the bag. ask the sales rep and see if they have any in the back.

At least the fifth and the 1.75 liter bottles come with the bag, maybe others too

I thought all of them did. Except there's some special aged blend that comes in a black case. The website was a little vague, and the staff at the local liquor store wasn't very helpful either.
