What is your favorite variety of Sam Adams beer?
My vote goes to "Black lager"

Black Lager is too dark for me. I like dark beer, but Black Lager is so dark that it actually absorbs light out of the room. I like Oktoberfest or the Wheat Ale.
I have 2 favorites;
Cold and Free.
Scottish Ale
I personally like the Winter Brew, or Boston Lager on tap. I don't really like Sam Adams in bottles, just tap.
Free.
Winter Brew was great, and I'm looking for Cherry Wheat in my area.

At over $100 a bottle ... if, when, and where it can be found ... I have only ever split one single bottle with friends.
You asked what is my favorite ... not my favorite that I can actually find and afford to buy when I do.
Beyond that I usually prefer to pass on the Sam Adams and go for just about anything from Dogfish Head or Goose Island instead.
