Can I have wine shipped from abroad?!

Question: A friend wants to send me a gift of three bottles of wine from Germany. Can he just drop the parcel off at his post office or are there any specific regulations as far as the wine import is concerned?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Some states do not allow alcohol to be mailed or shipped at all. Check out this website. It shows the states that do allow it. I order from this site all the time. Unfortunately, wine can't be shipped to NJ.

Did he personally send it through his address or a company?

Its better if the german company sent it to you rather than his personal address, because the address causes more trouble.

You can have wine shipped from a broad. Men can send it to you too.

NO liquids are accepted by the POST system..
You must use a freight handler UPS and FED EX the most popular..?? DHL..??
Tell your friend to order on line they will set the requirements ..
