Liqour/Cigarettes cheaper at airport duty free or liquor stores.?!
Answers: Im from jersey and im leaving for india today.. I want 2 know if i should buy these stuff from the stores or if i should buy them from the duty free shops.
Always go duty-free. Duty-free is tax free, and the reason cigarettes are so expensive is because the US Gov't and the state gov'ts tax the crap out of them.
Duty free is cheap because there is no tax but you might get the same thing in India even cheaper. It depends. I made that mistake going to Mexico, stocked up on booze and cigs and found out they were even cheaper in Mexico.
Duty free is way cheaper!
