Patron is a sipping tequila.
If you want to mix tequila, buy some cheap stuff.
Try this - in Mexico they sip the good tequila alongside a non- alcoholic mix called Sangrita. A snifter of Patron with a shot of Sangrita on the side. A sip of Tequila, a sip of Sangrita.

I'd have to agree, it is for drinking straight not mixing. Use another tequila for mixing.
yeah, um, the point of good liquor is that you don't need to mix it with anything. that's like making a screwdriver with belvedere vodka.

What is patron? I've been living in Mexico for 35 years and have never heard of it and I go to restaurants that have a Tequila list of 50 different brands.
Use cheap tequila for a margarita and mixed drink. Drink Patron with a lick of salt and a bite of lime if you need something on top of the tequila.
