I would stick to the Dos Equis because the Germans taught them how to brew it. German beers have always tasted good to me. The rest of all the Mexican beers I have tried do not taste anywhere near as good as an ice-cold Dos Equis. I am not too fond of the mexi-beers and prefer ones that have a stronger, non-watery taste.
Good times!!!

corona ,carta blanca, and sol. also try casadores tequila it makes patron feel like water. i reccomend goin to monterrey it is a very modern city similar to new york and have a lot of ex-american citizens living there hope this helps
good luck!

My favorite is Negra Modelo!

For long term I would go to Ajijic...

I love beer and I have not found a good beer that coms from Mexico. An okay beer is Negra Modelo, that is one of the only ones that I have found that has any flavor.

Corona. Nowhere. Come back to the U.S. unless your a fugitive or something.

Dos Equis XX Special Lager
Dos Equis XX Draft
Dos Equis Amber

During this seasson you can buy "Noche buena" its very good.

I like Leon, Estrella and Pacifico beers.

I know a lot of americans live in Puerto vallarta or in San Miguel de Allende, some like Chiapas, depends what kind of life you want, if you want a big City go to Monterrey or Guadalajara. I dont think the huge city is for you.
