Has anyone tried the "Octoberfest"beer that sold durning Sept & October only?Its made by a brewery in Wis----!

Do you mean New Glarus' Stag Oktoberfest? They make some good stuff, Spotted cow is there most popular and my personally least favorite. The IPA is out of this world.

There are numerour beers that produce seasonal brews. I would guess that there are dozens if not 100's of Octoberfest's out there.

To me, going from Octoberfest to Winterfest, it sounds like you're talking about Sam Adams! Not enough info to know for sure however.

Well now; not at Octoberfest in Canada especially around Kitchener, Waterloo & Hamilton. Ontario. Can't comment on the rest of the country but good German beer here! Well, I have to give a little here, we make pretty good German recipe beer here as well.

Sam Adams has those two brews you mentioned. They're both quite nice. If you like them keep an eye out for the Holiday Porter and (next year) Summer Ale.
