Temporary Docment and buying alcohol in Colorado?!
Answers: I went to get my license renewed the other day and got a "Colorado Temporary Document" paper to hold me off until my new license arrives. It doesn't have my picture on it. Is this is a valid form of ID that would allow me to pick up alcohol?
It should be fine - just show it with another picture ID or your expired license if they want additional proof.
I live in CO and in the past used my expired AZ license (that had been through the wash and is usually questioned for authenticity due to the crazy expiration date - over 50 years!) for buying alcohol in the past.
If that is the case then they yank out the cardboard "you cannot buy alcohol unless you are THIS tall" sign from the back and measure ya. Chill out! LOL
