Which Scotch?!

Question: Which Single Malt Scotch Whiskey should I buy ?

Answers: Which Single Malt Scotch Whiskey should I buy ?

Sorry but that is like asking someone what flavor of ice cream to eat.

Single Malts are all very unique to the houses that make them.
Generally there are Highland houses and Coastal houses.
The Highland varieties tend to be more robust, but all of the other aromas, and flavor components: caramel, tobacco, heather, peat, etc. are going to vary tremendously.

I would reccomend that you go to a very good wine/liquor store and ask for some reccomendations. The person selling to you should be knowledgeable about the product and should ask you what flavors you like to taste.

Depends on what you have to spend. If money is no object try Craggenmore.

johnny walker blue label also red, gold, silver, black

Middleton it is the best if you can find it

One of those " No best answer " questions.
Lagavulin is one of my favorites.

If you're set on a single malt, ignore Johnny Walker...it's a blend (all labels).
If you want something that's easy to find anywhere you go, there's Glenlivet or Glenfiddich.
If you want the best bang for your buck (tastes best without making you bankrupt), this is the list I always refer back to:

My personal favorite is Talisker or Glenmorangie 12 year old sherry finish.
