some may see that as shocking.. but I always had access to booze when I grew up and rarely drink now some 30 years later..

if people make it seem , the normal thing and it's not rebellious to drink the ODD time, then there wouldn't be so binge drinking idiots at the weekend. I used to have the odd beer/glass of wine when I was about 13 or 14. but well as long as it's in controlled environment I wouldn't see the problem..e g.. 1 glass of wine, not 2 bottles.

I would probably do the same with my kids in their teens.. in Europe most kids have 1 glass of wine with their meals anyway.. notice how there is no booze problems over there?

Stole my fathers whiskey when i was 13 and drank well over half a 70cl btl.i was sick for 3days and i have never touched it since even the smell is enough to make me feel nauseous.

When I was fifteen I won a half bottle of rum in a Christmas raffle,it was Christmas eve and I proceeded to consume the rum with gusto.I never saw Christmas that year.

I drank a half pint of pure bacardi when I was 13, working collecting classes in a holiday club disco. I downed it in 3 or 4 goes, so nobody would catch me doing it.
I was completely hammered in about 20 minutes and couldn't stand up properly. In an hour I was throwing up, dizzy and in a real mess.
To this very day I can't even go near a glass of Bacardi without feeling icky.

Cointreau, orange liquor at about 14, god i was so sick, still cant drink it to this day or southern comfort the smell just gets to me.
