How come this beer ain't more famous?!

Question:

How come this beer ain't more famous?

I like black brews. Here in Chile, we get a pretty decent variety to pick from and also produce some pretty good stuff(We got a lot of german colonists down south)

There is some really crappy beer around and some really good ones. Kunstmann and Szot are probably the best chilean beers I've ever had. The other day, however, I went to the local supermarket and had some extra money. I walked into the beer aisle and noticed some Canadian beers that looked pretty good. They had french names and upon closer inspection I found a black beer with 9% alc. vol. I decided to give it a try and took it home. OH THE BLISS. It's probably the best beer I've ever had, really. Its name was Trois Pistoles... Now, I wonder... With things like these around, how come bullcrap like Corona or Bud are so popular?

No wonder the average american doesn't like beer due to it tasting like piss.

You're asking a question that I asked some years ago. The fact is advertising makes a beer popular. Who has more money for advertising than Budweiser? An excellent website to educate yourself on available beers worldwide is www.ratebeer.com
Once there, you'll discover a plethora of great beers that are available at better beer stores.

Because there are too many good beers from Great Britain, Germany and Microbrews in America.

The Chilean beers probably don't even advertise on an international level so nobody has heard of the ones you're talking about.

Even Mexicans won't drink Carona...

I have never Has Trois Pistoles (three Pistols) but It probable came from Quebec

The best dark beer I have Ever had is "Naramata Nut Brown Ale" Made in a little Brewery, in Naramata B.C. Canada.
