the cap on top is hollow. If you tilt the bottle upside down it will fill up slowly. The problem with this is now being able to use the shot glass. because as soon as you tilt the bottle upright it starts flowing out of the cap. So you have two options either leave it on its side if most of the tequila is already out of it or make the race for time and use your skill to take the cap off and quickly turn it upside down without spilling out you measured amount. Its way easier to use a shot glass or if you are lucky they make special pourers for that bottle.

Leave the cap on and tilt the bottle sideways until the lid fills up, take off the cap and enjoy!
