when I was tending bar years ago I was told that there was approximately 5 gallons of beer in a kig, that times 64 ounces in a gallon makes about 320 ounces. We have gotten kegs that didn't seem like that much in them because of the air and the fact that sometimes they don't pump right and there is a lot of waste, I hope this helps.
