What is the best way to maintain and store cigars in cold and dry places, perhaps russian siberia?!

Question: had a look around and it seems that the temperature doesn't matter

what does matter is the humidity - the cigars must be kept at 69% to 73% humidity. too low and they dry, too high and they go moldy

so a sealed jar or something like that would be good - until you open it to take one out !

To prevent them from drying out in a cold
environment, put them in an air tight container.
If the tobacco gets too dry, I put a small piece
of damp sponge in the container. I have heard
that a slice of apple works well, but I have not
tried it.
