Help, what kind of wine goes with tamales and chili?!

Question: I need to send my husband to the store in about an hour to pick up a wine or two to go with pork and beef tamales and chile. (I dont know if it is chicken or beef chile, does it matter? It is just standard chilie and it all tastes the same.) Does anyone know anything about this? Oh yeah, we are also having chip and queso.

Lambrusco goes with anything

Moscato

Robust red, definetely.

White Zinfandel or Moscato. Both good choices to complement the spicyness of your food.

Make or buy Sangria, basically red wine with some cut up citrus fruit, and a shot of triple sec and brandy.. Throw it on ice and enjoy.

red sangria, they sell one already from Reunite wines, serve it well chilled!
Enjoy

ANY WINE WITH A SCREW TOP SHOULD DO NICELY

No matter how much of a YUPPIE you are YOU DO NOT DRINK WINE WITH TAMALES AND CHILI!!!!!! Get some ice cold Dose XX and some Reposado tequila.
Wine with tamales? Pinchi gringos coman pavo y papas!!
FELIZ NAVIDAD y PROSPERO ANO NUEVO

there is a nice wine called malbec from argentina. (red) it might go nice with the spicy food.

Any wine who's grapes were grown in Kansas and the wine was blended in Idaho, and bottled in Montana.

Reisling! It is a perfect complement to spicy foods.

Chile will kill the taste of almost any red.
