What is an easier shot to take Bacardi 151 or Tequilla?
The strong alcohol content vs. the horrible smell and taste?

i'd rather take the horrible smell and taste. though if you buy great tequila like Patron or Don Julio you won't have that problem.
also the taste and smell is why you take it with salt and lime. even with the worst tequilas this makes it bearable and almost pleasant.

If the tequila is Patrón, then definitely the tequila. Otherwise, the 151. (But I'll drink any rum that isn't coconut flavored, so...)
Bacardi.. Tequilla is so gross.
Tequila shots are great. Do the lime and salt bit with them.
TEQUILA no need for salt or Lemon, no training wheels needed here. I LOVE TEQUILA i don't think it smells bad at all and the tastee really there isn't a tast. 151 makes me gag more than anything,it smells like rubbing alcohol can't bring my self to drink it. I keep trying trust me! one of theese day's I'll get it!
definitely tequila. 151 is one of the definite stronger alcohols out there. (hence the name.) it burns your throat and pretty much tastes disgusting. it tastes nothing like regular bacardi. i used to work at a bar and if i made you that, it wasn't because i liked you.
with the tequila, you can add the salt and lime; and you're good to go!
Bacardi 151 is difficult in shot form because of the alcohol content, hence the name 151, i.e. its 151 proof. It is much better in a mix.
I hate tequila, but it would be much smoother shot, especially a call brand like Jose Black, Tartantula, or something similar. Most are about half as potent as 151 and will go down smoother.
Bacardi 151 isn't really made to take shots with, although you can if you'd like. Due to the high alcohol content it can really make the trip down burn and even make one very sick from drinking it straight up. It’s more of a good mixer. Tequila would be best in shot form.

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. 151 proof rum
1 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Jagermeister
Pour shots into shaker with ice. Shake and serve strained. Stand back for any hideous reactions to this wonderful shot. Be prepared for delayed reaction (usually 20 minutes).
its a great party shooter and has both drinks you mentioned and tastes great.
