Does raising the temperature of Glueh Wine cause cancer?!

Question: My father heard from his barber that a recent study was done and their findings showed that raising the temperature of the wine to a certain degree, it can cause cancer in a person or animal.

Now, is he perhaps just messing around, or is he really telling the truth?

And for those who don't know what glueh wine is, it's a spiced redwine, heated, that one drinks during the cold season.

Every region has a different taste, too. =p
